Just one month ago today I had the opportunity to meet in person all of the fellow designers and models for the First Ever Crochet Fashion Week!
Crochet Fashion Week took place in Atlanta, Georgia, and it was a fantastic event for crochet enthusiasts and fashion lovers alike. As a crochet designer, I had the privilege of presenting my crochet and leather bags on the runway for the first time, and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

Two Days full of Crochet Fashion
The event was held at The Creamery Studios which was such a beautiful venue, and the atmosphere was electric. Everywhere you looked, there were people in colorful and creative outfits, all celebrating the art of crochet.
The highlight of the event was the fact that designers like myself got to showcase our latest creations on the runway. As a first-time presenter, I was nervous, but also incredibly excited to share my bags with the audience. The models walked down the runway, showcasing the bags in a variety of styles and colors. The crowd cheered and applauded as they made their way down the catwalk, and I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment that I had never experienced before.
After the show, I had the opportunity to speak with other designers and attendees, and it was amazing to hear their feedback and see their enthusiasm for my work. I received compliments on the quality of the materials I used and the unique design of my bags. It was clear that the hard work and dedication I had put into my craft had paid off.
Overall, Crochet Fashion Week was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever. It was a celebration of the creativity and passion that goes into crochet, and I felt honored to be a part of it. I learned so much from the other designers and attendees, and I came away with new ideas and inspiration for my future designs.
If you are a crochet enthusiast or just someone who appreciates fashion, I highly recommend attending Crochet Fashion Week. It is an incredible event that brings together some of the most talented and passionate designers in the industry, and it is an experience that you will never forget. I can’t wait to see what the event will bring, and I am already planning my next collection of crochet bags to showcase on the runway at Gathering Threads Festival.
