I am absolutely thrilled about the release of September’s issue of Crochet Foundry Magazine! As someone who absolutely adores crochet design, I am always eager to see what each new issue has in store. This month’s issue, however, has me feeling particularly excited, as the patterns are simply stunning! I have no bias towards this particular issue, not at all. If you didn’t catch that as sarcasm, my design was featured on the cover of this months issue. Which is such an amazing feeling to have your work on the cover of a magazine that is dedicated to your art form! I am honoured to have this opportunity, and the opportunity to be interview by Heather Mann of Crochet Foundry. Check out part of the interview in the September Issue or You can check out the whole interview on their blog.

Find out all the ways to get this issue:
First up, we have this gorgeous sweater designed by Jess Bennett aka Rock Salt Plum! The intricate stitch work and contrasting colours creates such an eye catching garment. There are so many ways to style this into your wardrobe.
Next, we have this stunning bag designed by Lorene Eppolite aka the CEO of Furls Crochet and Crochet
Foundry Magazine. The beautiful textured stitch and boho accents make this piece an absolute showstopper.
Next, we have this stunning pullover designed by Smitha Crasta aka The Crazy Aunt . The detail from the tunisian stitch combined with the cuff and turtle neck make this a must wear for cooler temperatures. Who wouldn’t want to wear it out on a crisp fall day and have everyone asking where they got it!
Next, we have the last best headband designed by Emily Reiter aka Fiat fiber arts. I don’t know about you but I have always had the hardest time finding a headband that didn’t either hurt my head, or fit right. Well this headband solves both of those issues as you can personalize the size and the soft yarn won’t hurt your head!
Next, we have the No Slip Stitch Given Sweater designed by Ana-Maria Babanica aka Crochet Highway. The cozy texture of this piece has me already imagining myself snuggled up on the couch with a cup of tea, or hot cocoa.
Next, we have this adorable set designed by Jackie Laing aka Amidorable Crochet. The Cozy Campfire Amigurumi set will bring out the kid in any of us. Who wouldn’t want to play pretend when you get to incorporate these adorable smore’s and campfire props.
Finally, we have the Bishop Cardigan designed by myself Leanna Haughian aka Crafty Bones. I used the combination of the Alpine Stitch and ribbed detail in this Cardigan. Oh ya I shouldn’t forget to mention the Cozy oversized Bishop Sleeves I used to finish off the design. I can already imagine myself wearing this while out on a weekend walk, sipping a nice hot latte.
Overall, I couldn’t be more excited about the September issue of Crochet Foundry Magazine. Each pattern is unique and beautiful in its own way, get a copy of the magazine so you too can get started on all of these designs!
